Fondazione ISI has coordinated as Lead Partner the project MEETING (MEETings for INnovation Growth in SMEs: Enhancing collaboration with innovative start-ups), co-funded by the European Commission under the European Horizon 2020 Programme.

The team worked on the design of new initiatives to support the open innovation processes of small and medium enterprises that can strengthen their collaboration with innovative startups.

MEETING's design activities took place during a series of co-design workshops, during which staff members from the three project partners Fondazione ISI, Toulon Var Technologies Innovation (TVT Innovation) and Hrvatska agencija za malo gospodarstvo inovacije i investicije (HAMAG-BICRO) collaborated to identify, design and validate new models of SME innovation support initiatives able to respond to this challenge.

The results of their work have been condensed within the Design Options Paper, a document within which all stakeholders interested in facilitating collaboration between SMEs and innovative startups can find suggestions and best practices.
